I can't help but wonder why drum corps has self-destructed. There were so many corps over the years, many of the Cdn., and now there are so few. It has become the summer band camp of the US marching band fraternity. Sadly the alumni corps and the seniors will probably fade from existance as the numbers dwindle with the aging of their members. The DCI band/corps members rarely marh more the one or two years andprobably won't have the loyalty to the drum corps art form to continue in their adult years.
