Joe marched with Toronto Optimists from 1958-63, played solos and, later, instructed Optimists' horn line. Currently he is a solist with the Alumni Corps.

Lorne is part of the "way-back" machine. Coming from Western Tech with Barry Bell, one of the founders of Toronto Optimists, drum instructor for Optimists (and many other groups). Now he's a member of the snare line in the Alumni Corps.

Phil was a member of the Scout Band, Opti-Corps and Toronto Optimists from 1955-1960, played soprano from 1955 to 1957 and was Drum Major from 1958 to 1960. Today Phil plays Mellophone in the Alumni Corps
