Doug McPhail, Assistant Drum Major for the Toronto Optimists (1961)

that is Doug McPhail as assistant drum major on the far left, Al Morrison is drum major, far right. This was also the drum line configuration in 1961. The 1960 drum line had the bass drums before the side drums, here they are after. This appears to be in the US somewhere

The curved stadium suggests Aquinas Stadium in Rochester.
