Corps: Optimists Bantams, Toronto Optimists

Ed first played in the Optimists Bantams. In 1965 he moved to the "big corps".

Ed played French Horn in the Optimists. He was also instrumental in the resurgence of the Cardinal's of Scarborough from 1987 till his death. He was very active as a volunteer during that time and was much admired by the kids.

Paul Thompson, who travelled with Ed to corps shows, remembers that Ed would drive 100 miles or more out of his way just to eat at his favorite restaurant near Cambridge.
